This year, for the ninth time in a row, the biggest summer rally fiesta will take place in Rokiškis. The organisers “Automotoprojektai” announce that this year the competition will have a new name – “Rokiškio Grand Rally”.
The competition, which debuted in the Rokiškis area in 2017, was called “Samsonas Rally Rokiškis” for the first five years. Later Organisers signed a three-year contract with the company “CBet”. The company “Rokiškio sūris” operating in this city became the nominal partner of this grandiose competition in 2025. Therefore, this year’s rally will shine not only with the new colours of the partner’s brand, but also with a new name – “Rokiškio Grand Rally”.
“We are very pleased to announce that the nominal partner of the Rokiškis rally is probably the strongest company in this city – “Rokiškio sūris”. Both the rally and this company are an integral part of Rokiškis, so we are pleased that from now on the rally will be called “Rokiškio Grand Rally”.
Our cooperation with “Rokiškio sūris” has been going on before, but this year we have taken a new step and joined hands for the position of general partner, after whom this year’s competition will be named. We hope that the cooperation will continue for many years, since we have agreed on a partnership for at least three years with the possibility of extending it for another two,” said the competition organiser and a head of “Automotoprojektai” Audrius Gimžauskas.

“Rokiškio Grand Rally” traditionally promises to be the longest and most complex rally competition in the entire rally calendar of our country. And although the organisers are not yet revealing the details, they do not hide that this year both traditional and new special stages will await participants and spectators. In addition, there will be no shortage of entertainment and even additional prizes for rally spectators. The organisers will announce this when ticket sales begin.
“Our rally is always exceptional due to the number of special stages, kilometers, complexity, jumps, rich and diverse concert program. We will have surprises this year as well, so I invite everyone to mark this date in their calendars now, book accommodation in Rokiškis region and not miss the biggest summer rally fiesta,” said Audrius Gimžauskas, organiser of the “Rokiškis Grand Rally” and former racer.
In addition, this year, the Candidate FIA European Rally Cup competition will be held along with the Lithuanian Rally Championship stage. As Audrius Gimžauskas says, these are the first steps towards organising a European Rally Championship stage in our country in the future and seeing the most famous racers of the Old Continent on the gravel roads of the Rokiškis area.
This year, the status of a European Rally Cup stage has already been granted to such cult rallies as “Rallye Sanremo”, “Lausitz Rallye”, “Zagreb Delta Rally”. If “Rokiškis Grand Rally” meets the FIA’s requirements for candidate competitions, the Lithuanian tricolour and the name of Rokiškis may also appear on the 2026 European Rally Cup calendar.
