„Samsonas Rally Rokiškis“ will take place July 31 – August 1 for the fourth time. Event will cover two regions this year. Organizers agreed on that with municipality of Zarasai district.
Although Rokiškis will remain the capital of summer rally inhabitans of Zarasai will also have an opportunity to watch rally drivers on local roads. Organizer of „Samsonas Rally Rokiškis“ Audrius Gimžauskas states that decision was made to react to requests of Zarasai people. „As „300 Lakes Rally” haven`t been organized for several years already, we‘ve received a lot of requests, comments and questions from government and people of Zarasai if the same organizer will come back. So we are comming back to Zarasai this year.
We are not leaving Rokiškis. We feel good there, event is successful. However, it is not forbidden to add one more location. That is the reason why we decided to visit Zarasai this year as well. We are grateful to mayor of Zarasai and all administration for understanding. We found common language and I am very happy that geography of rally is spreading this year from one to two regions”- “Samsonas Rally Rokiškis” organizer Audrius Gimžauskas is sharing great news.
