“Rokiškis Grand Rally” announces the start of ticket sales: one spectator will win an impressive prize

This year, on August 7-9, the biggest summer rally fiesta will take place in Rokiškis and its surroundings for the ninth time in a row under the new name “Rokiškio Grand Rally”. “Automotoprojektai”, the organisers of the competition, announce that ticket sales have already started with an  opportunity to win an impressive prize by purchasing a ticket.

This year “Rokiškio Grand Rally” will continue being a competition with the longest distance in the entire Lithuanian rally calendar. The organisers have found 130 kilometres of gravel roads. Competitors will have to overcome fifteen Special Stages eight of which will be unique over the two days of the race.

“A really beautiful rally celebration awaits. We will offer both time-tested Special Stages and new sections to the participants and spectators. I think that every motorsports fan should already mark August 7-9 in their calendar and become a part of this summer rally fiesta,” said the organiser of the competition Audrius Gimžauskas.

With just over a month left until the event sale of the tickets have already started. Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here. Ticket price is 15 Euros. Children under 12 years old will be able to enter the event for free.

Exchange of e-tickets to rally wristband will be available during the event week, starting on Thursday in Rokiškis, at the rally information center on Independence Square.

Organisers claim that purchasing a ticket to the “Rokiškio Grand Rally” is worth it not only for the opportunity to watch the fastest Lithuanian rally racers competing on the gravel roads of the Rokiškis area. On Saturday evening, during the awards ceremony at the Rokiškis Manor, the owner of one ticket will be awarded with an impressive prize – a “Husqvarna Tourer T1” electric bicycle worth of almost 3,000 euros.

In addition, rally fans will not only enjoy impressive competitions, but also a rich concert program. On Friday, the band “Vanilinis dangus” will perform at Independence Square, and on Saturday, after the awards ceremony, Jovani will warm up the audience.
