The fourth stage of the Lithuanian automobile rally and Lithuanian automobile rally sprint championships “CBet Rally Rokiškis” started on Friday in Rokiškis. More than 90 participants from six countries. On the first day shakedown and qualifying stage awaited the crews, and in the afternoon there will be five Special Stages with a total length of 50 km.
On Friday morning, two Stages were prepared for the participants of “CBet Rally Rokiškis” – one of them was a shakedown for everyone, and the twenty highest ranked crews in the starting order started the day with a qualifying stage. The ten best performing duos have already chosen their starting positions, where they will start the race on Friday afternoon.
Vladas Jurkevičius and Aisvydas Paliukėnas performed best in the qualifying stage. As expected, they chose to start tenth. The reason for such a decision is simple – when driving on an already cleaned road surface, you can expect a better result.
At that time, the honor of starting the rally first went to the duo of Giedrius Firantas and Matas Valiulis. Vaidotas Paškevičius will start second with Kamilė Kazickaite. Egidijus Valeiša will start the race in third position with Mindaugas Varža. Linas Vaškys and Laurynas Paškevičius will go fourth through the starting arch. Nedas Radiškauskas and Justas Vičiūnas chose the fifth starting place. Giedrius Notkus and Dalius Strižanas will start sixth. Emils Blūms and Didzis Eglitis will start seventh in the Special Stages. Eighth and ninth places were shared by Rokas Steponavičius with Dovydas Ketvirtis and Jakub Matulka with Daniel Dymurski, respectively.
On the first day of “CBet Rally Rokiškis”, five Special Stages with a total length of over 50 kilometers will await the competitors. On the second day of the rally, the distance will be even longer – 90 km, and there will be ten Special Stages on Saturday. Both the first and the second day of the rally will be crowned by the city Special Stage.
